Rydges Gold Coast Airport
A landmark hospitality project and one of the Gold Coast’s most recognised hotel addresses, the Rydges Gold Coast Airport is a full-service hotel sitting directly adjacent to Gold Coast Airport in Coolangatta.
Working alongside developer Foxy Robinson, and Condev Constructions Nicky Uren was engaged as lead designer for the entire project — delivering a complete, end-to-end interior design solution across every aspect of the hotel. The full scope encompassed all exterior areas , lobbies and reception, corridors, dining and bar spaces, conference and event facilities, and all back-of-house and operational areas.
Every design decision — from spatial planning and custom joinery and wall paper design to the complete specification of fixtures, finishes, furniture, and soft furnishings — was led by Nicky, resulting in a cohesive, polished result that has stood the test of time as one of the region’s premier hotel destinations.
